1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Keyva ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Keyva is developed and operated by Sera Creativo ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

Keyva is an environment variables management application for Apple platforms (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS) that allows you to:

  • Create and manage projects with multiple environments
  • Store and organize environment variables securely
  • Sync data across your Apple devices via iCloud
  • Export variables in various formats (.env, JSON, YAML)
  • Secure sensitive values using Apple Keychain

3. Account and iCloud

Keyva uses your iCloud account to sync data across your devices. By using the App:

  • You must have a valid Apple ID and iCloud account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID
  • Data is stored in your personal iCloud container
  • We do not have access to your iCloud data

4. Subscription Plans

4.1 Free Tier

The free version includes:

  • Up to 3 projects
  • Up to 3 environments per project
  • Up to 25 variables per environment
  • Export in .env format only
  • Full iCloud sync

4.2 Premium Subscription

Premium subscription unlocks:

  • Unlimited projects
  • Unlimited environments
  • Unlimited variables
  • Export in all formats (JSON, YAML, .env)
  • All future premium features

Pricing:

  • Monthly: $4.99 USD per month
  • Annual: $24.99 USD per year (save 60%)

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change with notice.

4.3 Payment and Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
  • Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings

4.4 Cancellation and Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial periods
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their policies
  • Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of the paid period

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Keyva only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the App to store illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Use the App to harm, threaten, or harass others
  • Circumvent any limitations or technical restrictions
  • Share your subscription with others outside of Family Sharing
  • Use the App in any way that could damage or overburden our systems

6. Data and Privacy

  • All your data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account
  • We do not collect, access, or share your personal data
  • Sensitive values are encrypted using Apple Keychain

7. Intellectual Property

  • Keyva and all related trademarks, logos, and content are owned by Sera Creativo
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works
  • All rights not expressly granted are reserved

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

You use the App at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Sera Creativo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not responsible for data loss, though we recommend regular backups

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the App at any time
  • Change features or functionality
  • Update these Terms with reasonable notice
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App:

  • For violation of these Terms
  • For illegal or harmful activities
  • At our discretion with or without cause
  • Effective immediately upon notice

Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the App ends immediately
  • You must delete all copies of the App
  • No refunds will be provided for unused subscription time

12. Children's Privacy

Keyva is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

13. Export Control

You agree to comply with all export laws and restrictions. You may not use the App if you are located in a country subject to embargo.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through:

  1. Good faith negotiation
  2. Binding arbitration if negotiation fails
  3. Jurisdiction in the courts of Spain for any arbitration appeals

16. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Sera Creativo regarding the App.
