Privacy Policy

Introduction

Sera Creativo ("we", "us", or "our") built noise ("the App"), a native video editor for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains how the App handles your information.

Key principle: noise processes everything on your device. Your videos, their audio, and the transcripts generated from them are never uploaded to us or to any third party. We run no servers and have no access to your content.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• No personal information (name, email, address)
• No analytics, tracking, or usage profiling
• No device identifiers or advertising IDs
• No location data
• No videos, audio, or transcripts sent off your device

noise contains no third-party SDKs and no analytics frameworks.

What the App Processes On Your Device

Your videos

When you pick a video from your photo library, noise references it (by its local identifier) — it never copies it. The original file is never modified. The App reads the video to detect silences and, if you enable subtitles, filler-word or repetition correctors, to transcribe its audio.

Audio analysis & transcription

Silence detection, speech transcription, and any AI-assisted cleanup run entirely on your device. Transcription uses Apple's on-device Speech framework; optional repetition detection uses Apple Intelligence (on-device Foundation Models) where supported. No audio and no transcript leaves your device.

Projects

A project is a reference to your video plus your settings, detected cuts, and subtitle cues, stored locally on your device as a small JSON file. No video copies are stored.

Exports

When you export, the cleaned video is rendered on your device and saved to your photo library. It is never sent anywhere else.

Permissions We Request

• Photo Library (read): to let you pick a video to edit.
• Photo Library (add): to save your exported video.
• Speech Recognition: to generate subtitles on-device.

You can review or revoke these permissions anytime in iOS/iPadOS Settings.

Third-Party Services

noise uses only Apple's built-in frameworks:

• Photos: to import the source video and save your export.
• Speech (on-device): to transcribe audio for subtitles and correctors.
• Apple Intelligence (on-device, optional): for semantic repetition cleanup on supported devices.
• TestFlight (beta only): while the App is distributed for testing, Apple may collect crash logs and basic usage under Apple's Privacy Policy. We add no analytics of our own.

Data Sharing

We do not share your data with anyone, because we never receive it. There are no advertising networks, data brokers, or partners involved.

Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Because your content stays on your device, you remain in full control of it. You can:

• Delete any project inside the App
• Remove exported videos from your photo library
• Uninstall the App to remove all local data
• Revoke any permission in Settings

We do not sell personal information and do not discriminate based on privacy choices.

Children's Privacy

noise is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. The effective date above will change and the updated policy will be posted here.
